The project:

The app uses virtual reality to present the product of the Zespri brand. However, what makes this App so unique is the presented product – a kiwi fruit. Zespri VR takes users on a virtual journey and shows them the way which this green fruit travels before it hits the shelves. This alternative way of presenting the distribution channel is a perfect way to connect with potential customers on a product-level. Thanks to several language versions to choose from, the App can be used in relations with partners in many different markets.

The challenge:

The primary challenge in this project was the product itself. The key to success of a project like this one is to show the product in a way that attracts customers’ interest while distinguishing (a seemingly simple product - a fruit) it from its competitors.

The goal:

  • Educate the audience
  • Distinguish both the brand and the product from its competitors
  • Present the product's origin and part of the supply chain

About the client:

Zespri is a kiwi producer and distributor based in New Zealand. More than 2,700 local farmers sell their products on the international markets under the company’s brand name.
